About

Similar to how my work deals with the divided, fractal, and sometimes fractured, human being, my background is quite disparate.

I started learning art and craft on my own from 2003. Between 2016 and 2019 I got a Bachelor of Fine Art in Metal Art. In 2022 I received my MFA in metal art at HDK-Valand Steneby (Gothenburg University). I draw on my background as a researcher of social conflict (Ph.D.) and a long-standing interest in history, mythology, and religion. I am still a researcher and educator at heart, it is just that my methods have shifted towards more practical exploration.

  1. Hi there,

I can’t seem to locate an email contact so am hoping this means of communicating works. I’ve recently read with great interest the piece you coauthored in Transactions in GIS and the earlier Strauss Center working paper on territorial control. I was wondering whether the directed dyad event dataset that you use (based on the UCDP-GED, with information on attacks and post-event control) is publicly available, and if so where it might be accessed.

Thank you in advance for your time.

    Sincerely,
